THE HISTORY OF ANIME II(JAPANESE CARTOON)

The history of anime began at the start of 20th century.The first known animated film in Japan(short film);Katsudo Shashin was released as early as 1907.However,there was no proof of it existence.This is because of Japanese produced animation is definitively known to date before 1917.While the first confirmed film(short film);Dekobo Shingacho-Mean no Shippai(Bumpy New Picture Book-Failure of a Great Plan) was made in February,1917.

In 1933 the first talkie anime;Chikara to Onna no yo no Naka was created by Kenzo Masaoka.While in 1934,the first anime made entirely using cel animation;The Dance of The Changamas was created by Mitsuyo Seo.These two animators has bring Japanese animation up to the same level as foreign animation from the west at that time.

The founded of Toei Animation in 1948 has lead to the produced of the first colour anime feature film;Hakujaden (The Tale of The White Serpent) in year 1958 and it also was released in the U.S in 1961.

The first animated television series was introduced in 1960s.This has lead the anime became more popular in Japan and also in another countries in 1970s and until now.Right now,the anime have a lot of genres such as action,love,sport,science fiction,mecha,seinen,fantasy,slice of life,shoujo,shounen etc.
